A recent survey by ASSOCHAM had 90% of its respondents believe that the realty estate will revive within the next three months. What is your take on it?
Optimistic. i work in the field; I’m thinking Spring 10
Depends what they mean by revive? At best in the US and Cnada it may bottom out and go sideways . Some areas that that have commodity based economies like oil might see a 2-3% increase. I just don’t see any pent up demand from any age group right now. Also the commercial sector is having a lot of trouble that may indirectly affect the residental sector. Another iffy problem is the possiable prime mortgage fallout. Definatlely a wait and see situation. References :
Surveys can be skewed to favor the people or organizations that are paying for them. Some real estate will revive, but most will not is my unpaid, unsurveyed opinion. References :
Nope, it will not happen. The media would like to make you believe that but with Obama making the decisions that he’s made, it will not happen for many years. References :

It all depends on where you live. Some areas in California and Florida are already improving.
Real estate markets are local, not national.
